1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, checking the "I agree" box at signup, or otherwise accessing or using SoulMatch.ai (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and your own.
3. What the Service Is
SoulMatch.ai is a self-discovery platform. It generates personalized interpretive readings (Soul Map, Deep readings, compatibility readings, and similar) drawn from traditional and esoteric teachings including numerology, Vedic and Western astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, BaZi, Nine Star Ki, the Mayan Tzolkin, Chaldean numerology, Runes, and destiny cards; an AI guide ("Sophia"); optional reflective tools (such as journaling, dream notes, and optional cycle-awareness features). Member introductions and matching between members are not currently offered in the app.
4. Nature of the Content - For Self-Reflection, Not Professional Advice
The readings, interpretations, scores, guidance, and all other content are provided for personal interest, self-reflection, and entertainment purposes only. They are interpretive and esoteric in nature and are not statements of fact and not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. In particular, nothing on the Service is, or should be relied upon as: medical, psychological, psychiatric, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment; contraceptive, fertility, or any other medical guidance (any cycle-awareness feature is informational only and must not be used for contraception or medical decisions); legal, financial, tax, or investment advice; or professional relationship, marriage, or life counseling. Always seek a qualified professional for any medical, psychological, legal, or financial question.
5. AI-Generated Content and Its Limitations
Sophia and the readings are produced, in whole or in part, by automated and artificial-intelligence tools. AI can and does make mistakes. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your situation. You acknowledge that you will not rely on any AI-generated content as fact or as professional advice; that you are solely responsible for any decision or action you take based on the Service; and that we make no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness of any output.
6. Interactions with Other Members
The Service does not currently offer member introductions or matching between members. This section applies to any member-to-member interaction that already exists on legacy web accounts, and to any such feature we may offer in future. We do not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification, or screening of members, and we do not guarantee the identity, character, conduct, intentions, compatibility, or safety of any member. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and offline. Exercise caution: keep personal and financial information private until comfortable, meet in safe public places, tell someone you trust your plans, and stop any interaction that feels unsafe. You assume all risk arising from contact with other members. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for the conduct of any member or third party, for any compatibility result, or for any loss, harm, or injury (emotional, physical, financial, or otherwise) arising from member interactions or any relationship that does or does not result from the Service.
7. Your Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk
You use the Service at your own discretion and risk. You are responsible for the choices you make and the actions you take in connection with the Service and its content. Responsibility for evaluating, verifying, and acting on any reading, suggestion, match, or guidance rests with you.
8. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: impersonate others or provide false information; harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other members; use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or commercial-solicitation purpose; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security; or upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
10. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Certain features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and inclusions are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe and Lava) and are subject to their terms. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, and the structure of its readings, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect (including names, birth details, and any optional wellness information), how we use and protect it, and your rights.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any result or match will be achieved.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or emotional distress, arising out of or relating to the Service, the content, AI output, or interactions with other members, even if advised of the possibility; and our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoulMatch.ai and its owners, officers, and staff from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service, your content, your interactions with other members, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own wrongdoing where the law does not permit such indemnification.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other members. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4-7 and 13-17) will survive.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be finalized upon incorporation]. Any disputes will be handled as set out there.
